While new at narrating audiobooks, my love for reading and storytelling - whether for film, TV, documentary or audio - has always been a driving force in my career as a trained actor. I am passionate about creating believable characters that draws listeners in, making them feel a part of the story.

 

 

My vocal playing age naturally sits at thirty-five to fifty years; however I have a much wider range. From a ten-year-old 'petite fille' from Paris to a singing posh granny in her seventies, I pride myself on providing a versatile and dynamic performance to every read.

 

 

My natural accent is neutral British and I can also narrate in a flawless American or Canadian accent to native standard.

 

Character accents include: Southern American, London/Cockney, Estuary, Northern, French and minor characters in Scottish and Irish.

My favourite genres of novels include: romance, women's fiction and mystery/crime/thrillers. I enjoy most genres of romance; especially contemporary and those with a bit of spice, and am a sucker for a HEA. I have a good knowledge of the publishing industry from attending many literary festivals of writing, and am a former member of the Romantic Novelist Association and Audio Publishers Association. 

 

In non-fiction, I have a special interest in personal development, such as health and wellbeing, including neurodiversity (ADHD and autism, OCD); women's health (perimenopause and menopause); manifestation; nutrition; and I practice breath work and meditation - both of which I have diplomas in (awarded distinction).

 

I also have a BA/BSc (Hon) degree in Drama with Psychology and am a certified Mental Health First Aider, with a good knowledge in neuroplasticity, anxiety and depression and current treatments.

Having formerly worked as a Classroom Assistant, Children's Hotel Entertainer and Storyteller, I enjoy creating characters that children of all ages will love, and listen to again and again.
