While I am a new audiobook narrator, my love for reading and storytelling - whether for film, TV, documentary or audio - has always been a driving force in my career as a trained actor. I am passionate about creating believable characters that draws listeners in, making them feel a part of the story. I am a member of the Audio Publishers Association (APA) accepted onto the 2026 Spring Narrator Mentorship Program.

My vocal playing age naturally sits at thirty-five to fifty years; however I have a much wider range. From a ten-year-old 'petite fille' from Paris to a singing posh granny in her seventies, I pride myself on providing a versatile and dynamic performance to every read.

 

 

My natural everyday accent is neutral/RP British. I can also narrate in a General American or Canadian accent to native standard.

 

Character accents include: Southern American, London/Cockney, Estuary, Northern, French and minor characters in Scottish and West Country.

My favourite adult fiction genres include: romance; mystery/thrillers; classic fiction and general fiction. In romance, I especially enjoy contemporary, holiday and rom-coms in single and dual narration, and am a sucker for a HEA.

In non-fiction, I have a special interest in health/personal development, such as health and wellbeing, including neurodiversity (ADHD and autism, OCD); women's health (perimenopause and menopause); manifestation; nutrition; and I practice breath work and meditation - both of which I have diplomas in (awarded distinction).

 

As a former fiction writer and member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, attending many literary festivals of writing. I have a good knowledge of the publishing industry and have maintained some strong connections.

I also have a BA/BSc (Hon) degree in Drama with Psychology and am a certified Mental Health First Aiderr. I am well-read in neuroplasticity; and current treatments for anxiety and depression.

Having formerly worked as a Classroom Assistant, Children's Hotel Entertainer and Storyteller, from chapter books to young adult, I enjoy creating characters that children of all ages will love, and listen to again and again.
