Screen and Voice Actor
From evil zombie child, seductive femme fatale to your friendly neighbour, Sue, chatting about the best new loo roll, I love finding empathy for each character I’m playing and how I can bring my life experiences to breathe more depth into them.
But embodying ‘another’ isn’t the most important aspect of my job as an actor.
The most important is to listen.
To know who I’m talking to and listen to how they may respond.
Because if we know who our audience is we can make them feel seen and heard.
And that is one of my superpowers.

A Day in the Life Of
With a BA/BSc (Hons) in Drama with Psychology, alongside my passions for acting and voiceover, I’ve always been fascinated by how our minds and brain works, and how to keep the mind-body-spirit connection happy and healthy. This is a daily work in progress and, over the years, I’ve learned for me to be at my best, I need to carve out time to meditate, practice breathwork and move my body through walking in nature, running, yoga, Pilates or aerobics before I warm-up my voice and get behind the mic or have an admin day.
I also enjoy writing, reading - especially personal development books - and listening to podcasts. Some of my favourite ones - outside of the voiceover industry - are The Diary Of A CEO, The Mel Robbins Podcast and On Purpose with Jay Shetty.
Of an evening, I’ll be ‘doing research’ for my craft by binge watching series, films and animations.
And, at the weekends, I’m frequently at an industry related workshop, conference or networking event to stay fresh and current, and learn new skills from top experts amongst my fellow creatives. Including being selected as the winner for the VOPeeps International Scholarship for VO Atlanta 2024 - the world's largest voiceover conference.
